Erasmus ICP in NLP

Erasmus Exchange Programme ICP-96-NL-1022/09 on Natural Language Processing

The Erasmus Inter-University Cooperation Programme on NLP is coordinated by Andy Way at Dublin City University. Its remit involves student exchange and curriculum development in the area of Computational Linguistics. The network functions thanks to financial support from the European Commission under the Erasmus programme.

There are several other partner universities involved:

Each of these sites includes contact addresses, overviews of courses available and programmes offered, as well as research interests and opportunities.

A more recent development involving the members of the ICP is joining the Thematic Network on Computing in the Humanities, sponsored by funding from the European Commission under the Socrates Programme. Again, the main involvement for our ICP members is Curriculum Development, and the minutes of the first meeting on this topic can be found here.

All institutions in the network listing an interest in Computational Linguistics can be found here.

If you wish to see the slides of a talk I gave on Curriculum Development at the Evaluation Conference on Inter University Cooperation in Europe in the Field of Computing at Dublin City University, Ireland, July 1996, you can access this here.
