I am really glad that I have the chance to attend the European MSc in Business Informatics.
Graduating computer science and keen on information technology, I was still not able to see myself
just behind the computer. The course offered me the opportunity to go beyond the technical skills
and study at academic level the appropriate application of Information Technology in different
business areas (often underestimated knowledge, which appeared to be highly critical in the
practice). The friendly and supportive environment of highly diverse group of lectures and colleagues
is just adding more advantages. Certainly, I see European MSc in Business Informatics as investment
in my future!

Student Year 2006/07
I had graduated in 2004 with a B.Sc. in Computer Science and since then I had been working in the
public sector. The main attraction (among many) for me was the opportunity to spend three months
abroad working on a research project. Since starting in September 2006 I haven't looked back. I
plan to go to Vienna at the end of May and begin work on my practicum. The college facilities at
DCU are excellent, the lecturers are very helpful and my classmates are really friendly. We are a
really tight knit group, made up of students from many different countries working together. This
course has offered me chance to research abroad, it has given me a lot more confidence in myself
and it has increased my job opportunities. I wouldn't change my decision for the world!
