Business Informatics European Partner Network

By pooling our resources and talent, the European MSc program offers students a
compact, European study program with the highest academic and professional standards.
Our programme is unique - studies from a European viewpoint, an international student
body and a one year intensive period of study with 4 months in another European country.
Along with our focus on developing Business Informatics skills needed for the networked
economy, these factors make the European MSc in Business Informatics at Dublin City
University unique.
The European MSc is not only embedded in a network of European Universities but also
in a network of companies. The companies vary from small- and medium-sized businesses
with regional or national focus to global players.
Among Universities who are currently included in the Business Informatics Network are for example:
- University of Bern (Switzerland)
- University of Vienna (Austria)
- University of Applied Sciences Berlin (Germany)
- University of Ostrava (Czech Republic)
- Växjö University (Sweden)
- Institute for Computer Science and Engineering of Limoges (France)
- University of Veliko Turnovo (Bulgaria)
- University of Economics, Prague (Czech Republic)
- University 'Lucian Blaga' of Sibiu (Romania)
- Comenius University of Bratislava (Slovakia)

Practitioner-Academia Learning Partnership in Business Informatics
Recognising the importance of industry-relevant skills development,
DCU’s European MSc in Business Informatics emphasises two themes throughout
the course:
- Applying knowledge in a practical setting
- Managing and working in an intercultural environment
Throughout the programme we aim to enrich the curriculum by inviting guest speakers,
organising workshops and including case studies, team projects or even company visits. These
occasions provide valuable opportunities for participants to apply their
theoretical knowledge to issues taken from the real business world. On the
other hand, companies involved benefit by getting innovative ideas for current
business informatics issues and building valuable relationships that are
essential to attracting top graduates.
Dublin City University - School of Computing invites companies and organisations
to join this Practitioner-Academia Learning Partnership in Business Informatics.
Through the Learning Partnership, companies gain
- strategic exposure to highly skilled graduates in Business Informatics and
- expand their presence and reputation on campus.
Supporting partners are expected to encourage some of their outstanding employees to
enrol in the programme, and to permit to attend classes. Employers find that the value
these employees add to their organization provides an excellent return on
the company's investment.
Alternatively partners can offer or contribute to scholarships for students in the European MSc in Business Informatics.
Current supporting partners include:

The partner network will be constantly reviewed and extended. If you are interested in joining our Business Informatics Partner Network (both Companies and Universities) please contact:
