The B.Sc. in Computer Applications Degree

Duration: 4 Years

CAO Points: 300

Programme Aim:
The B.Sc. in Computer Applications degree prepares students for successful careers as software professionals wherever computing technology is employed - and that is in every sector of the economy.

Special Entry Requirements:
OC3/HD3 Mathematics
No prior knowledge of computing necessary


DCU is unique in that you don't have to decide on the kind of computing degree that's right for you before you start. Just enroll for the B.Sc. in Computer Applications and choose at the end of first year.

DCU's BSc in Computer Applications degree gives you a firm foundation in software engineering and information systems, as well as a knowledge of how to apply these skills in an effective way.
