Information for Exchange Co-ordinators and Prospective Students
Any student intending to participate in the School of Computing exchange scheme
at DCU should note the following:
- Students must select courses offered on degree programmes within the School of
Computing. In addition, certain courses are put on especially for foreign students in
the School of Applied
Languages and Intercultural Studies.
- Students attending for semester one only will be restricted to courses which
start and finish in that semester.
- Students attending for semester two only will be restricted to courses which
start and finish in that semester. Note also that some semester two courses require that
students have taken certain semester one courses also.
- Students attending for the complete academic year may select from the full range of
courses offered by the School of Computing and in addition, they may also select from the
full range of courses offeres by the School of
Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies.
Students wishing to achieve full ECTS accreditation for their
period of study in DCU must pass all exams and coursework
associated with the courses they opt to study. Students who take
only the continuous assessment part of a course, or only the examination
associated with that course, will not normally receive any
ECTS credits for that course.
Lists of all modules available on the B.Sc. in Computer Applications degree can be found
here.
