The
course runs for twelve months from the start of DCUs academic
year with an annual intake. In the year 2000/01 SmartForce will
provide four guest lecturers to speak on topics that will be
covered in the DCU modules over the year. Bill McCabe, Chairman
of SmartForce Ireland will be lecturing on E-Commerce and Entrepreneurship.
Fran McKeagney, Vice President of Development in the US will
be lecturing on Strategic Thinking in the Information Age. TG
Marsh, Vice President of Development will lecture on Business
Process Innovation and Paul Henry, Vice President of Sales will
lecture on Marketing on the Internet.
Students
studying the DCU course modules will have access to corresponding
SmartForce curricula throughout the year. For instance those
taking the Web Design DCU module can access the SmartForce Microsoft
Web Development curriculum for further information and training,
those taking the DCU Networks and Internet module can use the
SmartForce Information Technology curriculum.
