DCU Online Exam Paper Archive goes live

Arising from a commitment in the DCU "Framework of Good Practice in Teaching and Learning", a project was recently initiated to make past DCU Examination Papers available online. The pilot phase of this project was supported with funding from the DCU Teaching and Learning Fund. This work was carried out by a team from the Computer Services Department, co-ordinated by Ian Bell.

 

This pilot phase has now been completed, as scheduled. As a result, DCU exam papers from the past three years are now available to staff and students via the DCU web site. The project has involved scanning and making available 1997/1998, 1998/1999 and 1999/2000 papers, and has incorporated many of the suggestions previously supplied in the questionnaire made available to staff in July.

 

These papers can be searched and retrieved via web page: http://www.dcu.ie/ro/exams/papers.php3 Note that this archive is freely accessible *only* from within the main DCU campus. It is planned to also make access available from external locations on a password protected basis. For students, this will be immediately integrated with other planned personalisation facilities and will provide a customized layout of papers and other individual student related information.
